Two Experienced Reformers Who Learned from Many WDW's.

These occasional Blogs will be posted in the hope that we, Thel Kocher and Tom King, can help exhaust the infinite list of what to avoid in K12 Reform. Having been math teachers in a previous life, we both are aware that to prove something is true can be accomplished by proving it can't be false. 

OK, we'll settle for a finite proof, but we will also need a definitive list. More on that later. The format will sort of be a brief summary of a WDW finding, followed by a brief commentary and even briefer summation.We hope it may suggest something that does work.

We hope to keep this WDW Blog informative, light, occasionally humorous,  reflective, commonsense-imbued research findings that support avoiding a road that was taken, and hopefully point you to another road that might be worth taking. In other words, whatever you do, don't make the same mistake again.

There is a big difference between Ignorant and Stupid. We all start out with the former, learn from it, and hope to avoid the same mistake....which puts you in the realm of the Stupid. Or, as Forrest Gump reminded us: "Stupid is as stupid does!"

Today, Thel will lead off with a short summary of a WDW issue, and the rest will follow. Here we go!
